Jeremy's Dream Blog

When I remember them, I try to write down my dreams. Largely inspired by Dunne, it's also fun to do.

Dreamt about this girl I had a crush on in High School, Sharon.

It was weird - it was her, but at the same time, it wasn't her. Sort of looked like her, and same name. But she was much smarter, looked somewhat different, was more mysterious. Still somewhat flirty.

Dreamt I ordered 2 things for my computer, and they were delivered by 2 separate ways (one to the post office, one to front door by UPS), but were the same thing. Not sure what it was.

But put it in my computer, and my computer caught on fire.

2 Dreams. 2nd one I've largely forgotten, but the first one was an episode of Supernatural.

Dean got into trouble with the law (or is in trouble with the law over that St. Louis thing), and the police were after him. So he turns himself into this corrupt police officer that works for the mob, because that way, he could get the police off his back (or have a haven). It was a police compound yard - cars and all. The corrupt cop in charge of it was actually played by Richard Petty (the stock car driver). There was some other celebrity in the episode as well, but I can't remember who.

Anyway, the mob boss comes, and Dean has to do something to a car.

The other dream was about going on a road trip somewhere. Florida, I think.

Ugh. I dreamt about an old girlfriend of sorts, Katie. Nothing too deep, just chatting with her for like half an hour. It's one of those dreams that is so pleasant, and then you wake up and realize that she hasn't spoken to you for over a decade. At which point I couldn't get back to sleep.

Anyway, probably triggered by watching an old movie, which had a young lady which sort of looked like her. Gaelic features, similar hair (albeit straighter). I actually think it was a very young Patsy Kelly (her speaking style is definitely quite a bit different from Katie, and very recognizable).

(And yes, in fact it was. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0156578/)

Still sick.

Had this weird vivid dream, that was sort of a combination of Star Trek:TNG and the new Battlestar Galactica (neither of which I actually like, but go figure). It was more like the plot of BSG, but with the people from Star Trek. And the Borg/Cylons were sort of combined.

Anyway, people started getting taken over. And the only way to stop them was to blast them with a shotgun

Then we got to Earth, and I think it became a Starsky & Hutch crossover.

Still sick. And blogger seems sick, too, as it just ate my post. Anyway, like I said, sickness seems to equal vivid dreams. But not very interesting ones in last night cases.

Basically I was shopping. Shopping for 2 computer games, for some reason. One was the expansion for Galactic Civilizations II (although I wasn't looking for it, I stumbled across it), the one I was looking for was the player editor for some sort of baseball game. (Having to buy player editors is very early 80s-ish as well)

Checking out was a bit of a hassle, too.

Am sick, so I had a lot of dreams.

First very weird, my car was stuck on a bridge. One of those wooden , covered ones. And there was a forest fire going. This was weird, because I would wake up every 5 minutes or so, and then go back to sleep, and the dream would continue where I left off. Eventually I got it off the bridge

Then I had a dream where I somehow bought 2 PS3s. Apparently I pre-ordered 2 of them from 2 different places (or maybe Sony themselves somehow), not thinking I would get one, but ended up getting 2.

1 was sort of used, one was brand new. Hooked them up to a TV, played with them a bit, but didn't have any games. Then I started pankicking about how I would pay for both of them (or rather, how I would pay off my credit card which I charged them two).
I don't remember much of the specifics, but for some reason, I had a mullet.
